This is a beautiful reproduction of a WWII German Third Reich Heer crusher cap. The eagle is a original from my collection. The Bevo cockade I believe is a high quality reproduction. The leather bill has that classic cracked tar coating look. The wool is nice, tight and low not fuzzy. The white piping has the original cross hatch weave. This convincing reproduction would be the ultimate reenactor headgear piece for anyone portraying a Heer soldier. It would also make a fantastic collection filler piece especially on a mannequin.
