This is a movie prop from the Best Vietnam War Movie Ever Made, PLATOON.
It has Lieutenant Wolfe’s distinctive (hand embroidered) bronze collar Lt. bar and crossed rifles infantry cypher as seen in the movie.
It also has the typical Prop House numbered tag that is named to Mark Moses character in the movie “Lt. Wolfe”. This same style tag are seen on other uniforms sold from the movie. And of course the Wolfe name tag.
Unfortunately this particular jacket wasn’t used on film from what I can find. But was likely used during their two week training before the film was shot or as a alternate uniform. For this reason I am pricing it very affordably.
Missing top left and bottom right pocket buttons (2) total.
