Original Salty WWII Japanese Late War Officer’s Gunto Sword
Been there battle worn Japanese imperial sword. The pictures say it all. Its salty. The blade has some pitting and the very tip is broken off. The fittings are a bit loose. The scabbard lacquer is chipped on outer edges revealing lots of kanji script. This is still a very beautiful piece with lots of character and patina.
