U.S. WWI M1903 1907 Springfield 16 inch Rifle Bayonet marked S.A. with M1910 Scabbard dated 1917
Just a beautiful bayonet with a rich history. This Springfield bayonet is clearly marked SA 1907, reflecting its authentic heritage. It features a nicely preserved blade with a deep, even bluing and only a few minor chips—likely from intense sword fighting against the Kaiser in the trenches. The wooden grip fits snugly in hand and shows no signs of damage or wear. Complementing this piece is the fantastic canvas-wrapped scabbard, which remains in great condition, complete with a leather tip stamped Brauer Bros 1917. Honestly, this baby would be hard to upgrade or find in better overall condition!
