WWI Springfield Armory Hospital Corpsman Bolo Knife No Scabbard Marked SA 1912
A nice example of an original WW1 corpsman Bolo knife, especially impressive considering it is over 113 years old. The blade shows no chips or damage, with only a light surface rust that adds to its vintage character. The wooden grip is in good condition, showing some natural aging but no cracks or significant wear. The grip itself is the most amazing design I have ever encountered; it features angled finger grooves that fit the right hand perfectly, almost like putty molding to the fingers for a comfortable and secure hold.
